Our client, a prominent name in the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) sector, is currently looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be focused on substation projects, delivering high standards of electrical fitting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing electrical fitting tasks in substations
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Conducting inspections and testing of electrical systems
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Providing support during project commissioning and decommissioning phases
Job Requirements:
- Experience in electrical fitting, specifically within substations
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or a related field
