Our client BAE Systems, a distinguished entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a dedicated PCB Designer to join their team in Cowes (Isle of Wight) on a six-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet project specifications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Ensuring PCB designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Creating and reviewing technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Providing technical support throughout the design and production phases.
- Implementing feedback from testing to refine and optimise PCB designs.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in PCB design.
- Adhering to all security protocols and ITAR regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in PCB design within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of PCB layout tools and software.
- Knowledge of defence and security protocols, including BPSS and SC in Flight.
- Ability to work under ITAR and UK eyes only restrictions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
