As the Software Group Lead, you'll lead, grow and inspire a group of software engineers working on embedded/real-time systems that turn electronics into mission-critical capability. You'll have real autonomy: specify, design, build, test and deliver software solutions across high-integrity safety domains. You'll become a central figure in a multi-discipline engineering team, positioned to sharpen your leadership while deepening your technical presence.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience managing and developing a multidisciplinary software team: allocating resources, meeting timelines, and delivering to high quality standards.
- A deep understanding of software development lifecycles - requirements analysis, architecture/design, testing - especially in embedded or real-time contexts.
- Strong communication and leadership skills: you'll interface with technical leads, project managers and non-technical stakeholders, and you'll mentor your team to success.
- A passion for people: you motivate, develop, and care about what drives each member of your team.
- Bonus: Experience in defence is not required. If you have experience in adjacent sectors such as automotive, aerospace or consumer electronics please reach out!
