Test Technicians - Early & Late Shifts
Location: Bedhampton, Havant
Contract: Long‑term PAYE (potential to go permanent)
Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is expanding their hydraulic test team and seeking Test Technicians to support the testing of pumps, motors and mechanical valves used in civil and military aircraft.
Shifts Available: 1× Early, 2× Late
Shift Times
Early: Mon-Thu 06:00-14:15, Fri 06:00-12:00
Late: Mon-Thu 14:00-22:15, Fri 11:00-17:00
What You'll Do
- Operate pressure and fuel test rigs
- Carry out internal/external leak checks
- Verify torque, pressures and flow rates
- Shim and adjust components to set cracking pressure
- Read technical drawings & follow test procedures
- Record results accurately (manual & electronic)
- Work to DESAR, 5S and TPM standards
- Raise non‑conformances when required
What You'll Need
- Experience with pressure/fuel testing of mechanical valves
- Understanding of hydraulic systems
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of leak testing, torque checks & flow measurement
- Familiarity with shimming/adjustment and DESAR practices
Aerospace/MOD background desirable but not essential
Pay Rates (PAYE
Basic: £15.49 (or £17.75 incl. holiday)
Early (10%): £17.04 or £19.52 incl. hol
Late (25%): £19.37 or £22.18 incl. hol
Night (33%): £20.61 or £23.60 incl. hol
Overtime: x1.5, Sundays: x2
