Our client, a pioneering developer of IoT hardware and software solutions for water management, is seeking a talented Pre Sale MEP Engineer to join their solution team at the London office. This role is focused on contributing to the UK market with an opportunity to engage on a global platform. Their technology aids in monitoring usage patterns, detecting anomalies, preventing leaks, and significantly reducing water consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Technical Planning: Design and scope system deployments for construction and real-estate projects, including technical plans and specifications.
  • Client Engagement: Coordinate and present planned solutions to clients, including technical presentations and consultations.
  • Site Surveys: Conduct engineering surveys at sites to assess installation and integration requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with various company departments, including sales, product, customer success management, operations, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Global Collaboration: Work continuously with the international team across multiple time zones and markets.
  • Market Development: Support business development activities in the UK and European markets.

Job Requirements:


Essential:

  • B.Eng in Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering, or Civil/Environmental Engineering with a focus on water systems
  • Experience in MEP engineering, building services, or water systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, MEP plans, and plumbing schematics
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and standards (Building Regulations, BS standards)
  • Technical aptitude with quick learning ability and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both remotely and from the London office


Preferred:

  • CIBSE membership or working towards chartership
  • Background in plumbing systems and water management
  • Experience with construction projects in the UK market
  • Familiarity with BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) and Bluebeam
  • Understanding of IoT systems and smart building technologies
