Our client, seeking to meet infrastructure demands within Liverpool, is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with a specialism in School Building Improvements to join their team on a contract basis. This role will involve overseeing significant engineering projects to improve the city's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and delivering key projects
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure timely project delivery
  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve project goals
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the project team
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Overseeing site investigations and ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Engineering, with a focus on school building projects
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to provide two years of references or work history
  • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and provide a criminal convictions declaration
