This role entails managing and coordinating streetworks activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and to facilitate smooth operation within the highways sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating streetworks activities to minimise disruption
- Liaising with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all works comply with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and associated legislation
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of all streetworks activities
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of streetworks projects
- Handling any public enquiries and complaints related to streetworks
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Providing guidance and support to contractors and internal teams
Job Requirements:
- Experience in streetworks coordination, particularly within the highways sector
