Our client, a leader in the construction sector with a focus on Data Centre projects, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Lead to join their team for projects in the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures for large, Hyperscale Data centre projects
- Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Leading investigations into any incidents or accidents, compiling reports, and implementing corrective actions
- Providing health and safety training and inductions to all site personnel
- Coordinating with project managers and site supervisors to embed safety practices within daily operations
- Ensuring all health and safety documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Identifying potential hazards and initiating control measures to mitigate risks
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders regarding health and safety issues and improvements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in health and safety management within the construction sector, specifically on Data Centre projects
- Proven ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and training skills
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- Relevant health and safety qualifications or certifications
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks
