Maintenance Technician
Location - Havant
Salary - £19 phr

We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to join one of our leading manufacturing clients based in Havant. You will join the maintenance department on a day shift where you will ensure the site is maintained.
Day to day duties include -
- Repairing and maintaining equipment in a safe compliant manner.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements opportunities to increase equipment efficiency, effectiveness, reliability and process robustness
- Update Maintenance records and reviews
- Promote Safe Systems of Work, adhering to Safety regulations and Legislation
- Proactive team working with peers, customers, and support groups to improve equipment reliability
- efficiency, effectiveness, reliability and process robustness.
- Work with Continuous Improvement and Process Engineering to seek opportunities to improve OEE
Must have -
- Certified engineering apprenticeship/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent
- A good understanding of electrical/mechanical/fluid power/control systems
- Ability to analyse problems and perform repairs
- Basic use of hand tools
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
