Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing FPGA solutions for a range of defence and security applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Implementing and testing FPGA designs to meet project requirements and specifications
  • Debugging and optimising FPGA code for performance and reliability
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports to support design activities
  • Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance FPGA design practices
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in FPGA design and development, including VHDL or Verilog coding
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles and signal processing techniques
  • Proficiency in FPGA development tools and software, such as Xilinx or Altera
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of the defence and security sector is a plus
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
