Our client, based in Hampshire, is currently seeking Highways Project Managers on an initial 12 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful transportation projects, including active travel and Suds schemes in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project support for numerous minor works programmes
- Ability to manage projects up to the value of £3 million.
- Working alongside senior Project Managers to ensure timely project execution
- Monitoring project progress and updating project plans accordingly
- Coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment
- Contributing to risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Maintaining project documentation and preparing progress reports
- Facilitating meetings and communications between project teams and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Experience in managing transportation or highway projects
- Strong understanding of transport and highway industry standards and practices
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and pick up ongoing projects
- Available for hybrid working, with the ability attend the office minimum 1 day per week
