Our client, a leading entity in the technology, defence, and security sector, is seeking a Planning & Control Manager specialising in SAP S/4HANA to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing planning and control processes as part of a substantial SAP S/4HANA Digital Transformation programme. The successful applicant will be a key player in defining the foundation for Planning and Control across Manufacturing UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and validate S/4HANA future state processes surrounding Planning and Control, ensuring stakeholder buy-in
  • Deliver and validate UK Planning and Execution general top-level design material
  • Review, validate, and sign off all detailed design content with secure stakeholder endorsement
  • Represent Manufacturing UK in international and UK-specific workshops, including domain level and cross-domain
  • Lead system test campaigns within the area of responsibility
  • Support the Manufacturing Change Lead in scoping AS IS vs TO BE gaps for Training and Communications initiatives
  • Identify and adopt change opportunities ahead of SAP S/4HANA deployment
  • Assist in Data Migration/Data Cleansing topics
  • Obtain comprehensive knowledge of future state S4 processes and capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • HNC level of qualifications or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in SAP ERP usage in a manufacturing context, including engineering, logistics services, and manufacturing planning & control
  • High level of experience in planning and control processes
  • Confidence in decision-making within multi-national environments
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and engagements at varied organisational levels
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
