Our client is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on cross-sector projects, providing vital geotechnical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site investigations and data collection for ground conditions assessment
  • Managing drilling operations, including rotary rigs and slope climbing rigs
  • Implementing geotechnical solutions and providing technical support
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Preparing and presenting detailed technical reports
  • Coordinating risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Overseeing packer testing and other geotechnical procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Proficiency in site investigations and data interpretation
  • Familiarity with rotary drilling operations and packer testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team or independently
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
