Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the transition and delivery of a sewer rehabilitation infiltration programme on a short‑term basis. This contract role is ideal for a PM with strong civil engineering or utilities experience who can step in quickly and ensure a smooth handover and programme continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the transition of an active sewer rehab infiltration programme
• Manage project documentation including specifications, estimates, risk assessments, and method statements
• Oversee resources, support site activities, and conduct site inspections
• Ensure customer requirements are met and address issues promptly
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
• Communicate HSQE standards effectively to site teams and senior personnel
• Prepare safety documentation and ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant PM within civil engineering, utilities, drainage, or construction
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and support a seamless project transition
• Experience in sewer rehabilitation or water industry programmes (desirable)
• Background on major infrastructure works (e.g., HS2, Thames Water) is advantageous
• Relevant qualifications in project management, civil engineering, or related fields
