Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the transition and delivery of a sewer rehabilitation infiltration programme on a short‑term basis. This contract role is ideal for a PM with strong civil engineering or utilities experience who can step in quickly and ensure a smooth handover and programme continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the transition of an active sewer rehab infiltration programme
- Manage project documentation including specifications, estimates, risk assessments, and method statements
- Oversee resources, support site activities, and conduct site inspections
- Ensure customer requirements are met and address issues promptly
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
- Communicate HSQE standards effectively to site teams and senior personnel
- Prepare safety documentation and ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant PM within civil engineering, utilities, drainage, or construction
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and support a seamless project transition
- Experience in sewer rehabilitation or water industry programmes (desirable)
- Background on major infrastructure works (e.g., HS2, Thames Water) is advantageous
- Relevant qualifications in project management, civil engineering, or related fields
