Our client, a renowned company in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team in the South West. With a heritage spanning 40 years in the rotary field, our client is recognised for their expertise in maintaining Leonardo aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
- Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
- Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and off-site upon customer demand
- Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
- Closely supervise other engineering and support staff as required
- Ensure compliance is maintained to industry requirements and authorities such as the CAA and EASA
- Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authority
Job Requirements:
- Licensed Aircraft Engineer with experience in Airbus EC145/H145, Airbus EC135/H135, or Leonardo AW139
- Proof of recency and right to work in the UK
- UK CAA Part 66 Licence type ratings for AW139 or H145 or H135
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, both line and base
- Effective management of all maintenance within your control
- Computer literate on Microsoft-based systems
- Ability to hold a security clearance
