Our client, operating in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team at their facility in the South West. With a 40-year heritage in rotary aviation and a well-established reputation for maintaining Leonardo aircraft, this permanent role offers the chance to contribute to a respected and dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
  • Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
  • Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and off-site upon customer demand
  • Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
  • Ensure the highest quality and standards of work in aircraft, components, and documentation
  • Maintain facilities, equipment, and premises to an acceptable standard
  • Debrief operational crew members to accurately define and record defects
  • Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information
  • Work with other Departments to ensure smooth business operations
  • Ensure compliance with industry requirements and authorities such as CAA and EASA
  • Adhere to all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authorities
  • Manage all maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring safety is a priority

Job Requirements:

  • Licensed Aircraft Engineer with experience on EC145 / H145, Airbus EC 135 / H135, and/or AW139
  • Strong background in aircraft maintenance
  • Proven ability to certify work within company authorisations
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and debriefing
  • Proficiency in analysing and interpreting technical data
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and compliance with industry regulations
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK, with the ability to hold security clearance
