About the Company
Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturer preparing to transition into a brand‑new, purpose‑built facility. Their Titchfield site produces precision aerospace components for global programmes, requiring strict measurement accuracy and compliance with demanding engineering standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CMM Programmer, you'll develop, optimise and execute measurement programs that ensure complex aerospace components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
Working with PC‑DMIS and Aberlink software, you'll support inspection activity across first‑off, in‑process and final checks during a period of major site transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit and optimise CMM programs using PC‑DMIS and Aberlink
- Perform first‑off, in‑process and final inspections using CMM equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and GD&T requirements
- Set up, calibrate and maintain CMM machines and metrology equipment
- Analyse measurement results and produce accurate inspection reports
- Work with machinists, quality engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve dimensional issues
- Support continuous improvement in metrology processes and inspection standards
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:
- Proven experience as a CMM Programmer in aerospace or regulated manufacturing
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PC‑DMIS and Aberlink software
- Solid understanding of metrology, GD&T and dimensional inspection methods
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Experience with calibration, setup and maintenance of measurement equipment
- Strong problem‑solving ability and confidence resolving measurement issues
- High attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
